University of Vienna, Cemess (Centre for Microbiology and Environmental System Science), Petra Pjevac is a microbiologist and environmental researcher. She studied, among other things, how microbial communities in soils respond to plant-based inhibitors that help reduce nitrogen losses from fertilizers. Her work combines laboratory analyses and field experiments, contributing to more sustainable and resource-efficient agriculture.
