I was born in the West Indian island of Dominica, not to be mistaken with the Dominican Republic and as a child growing up, there would be all different sorts of people who would come to play dominoes at my grandmother's beach bar. We even had regional wide domino competetions anually. I was at the tables with the older folks who taught me to play and that very skillfully and at three I soon became a challenging players to most villagers. Even today most of the elders can vaguely remember my face but the memories of the games I often played with them.

The play serves as a level of social communication, in a functionally arranged structure and causes a CHAIN communication REACTION between players and the object to achieve a more balanced exchange to that respected habitat.

Games are related to war, fighting and intense competetion which entails defined and powerful stategies. It is a contest played according to specified rules and decided by chance, strength, skill or any combination of these. The project, plan or scheme is designed to defeat others with tricks and dodges. If we look at what is going on around us, we are aware of the different players in the war game.Dominoes might be remembered as a childhood experience. It is at this stage in life where compromise and negotiation have no interaction. Here we are not fighting with guns and bombs but our childhood instincts and domino pieces which gives us a different level of reasoning, compromising and negociating in a social battlefield. Playing suggests the tendency to go against the norm and break rules of convention with unrestricted creativity. Watching a play represents the parts one plays in life and the various acts and personas one puts on.

Play by oneself or with others? The game brings all kinds of people from all aspects of life together and allows a different level of speech, interaction and confrontation in respect to the amount of players. Sense and purpose of double six is the dividing line between meaningfulness and meaninglessness in human emphasis and their structured behavioral patterns. It is a boundary line, which has to do much more with the nature of humans living together, since, urbanity reflects the paradox within. (artist's statement)
